Text: Psalm 105:14-15
INTRODUCTION:
If the Lord has touched a man, the man become untouchable to the kingdom of darkness.
Gal. 5:17 “Therefore let no man trouble me because I bear upon my body the marks of our Lord Jesus Christ”
To touched by God is multidimensional.
-It is to be anointed
-To be filled with the Holy Spirit
-To have a hedge of protection
-To be under the shadow of the almighty
Job1:10 “Satan confessed that he could not afflict Job because the Lord has put a hedge around him. Job has the touch of God which make him untouchable to Satan”
BLESSED:
Number 22:12 “The Lord warned Balaam not to curse the children of Israel because they are already blessed, they are already touched.
When we are blessed, then the touch of God is upon us, we cannot be curse.
Case Study:
PROPHET ELIJAH
1)Famine could not touch him, because he was already touched. 1King 17: 1-15
2)Prophets of Baal could not touch him because he was already touched. 1King 18:18-40
3)Jazebel could not touch him, because he was already touched. 1King 19
4)Ahaziah & the army of 50 could not touch him because he was already touched. 2King1:1-17
LOST TOUCH
1Cor. 10:12 “Let he that thinketh he stand take heed lets he falls”
Divine touch can be lost if not handled correctly.
1)King Saul lost it 1Sam 13 & 1Sam 15
2)King Saul lost it, David gained so King Saul lost to David. 2Sam 3:1 ”There was long war between the house of Saul & the house of David, The house of Saul waxed weaker & weaker while the house of David waxed stronger & stronger”
3)Samson lost the touch.
Judges 16:20
Touch of God can be lost.
Please do all you can not to lose it.
Let us labour therefore to enter into His rest.
Heb. 4:11 “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”
Labour to receive the touch and not lose it.
Heb. 9:8 “Garment be white & head not lack oil, anointing, touch”
Altar Call to those that has not been touched the Lord want to touch you and those that have lost the touch, the Lord wants to retouch you.
